If you're like me, anecdotal evidence is one thing, but scientific studies are something else. When I started using Young Living, I went solely off anecdotal evidence. I had heard of essential oils, but hadn't really thought of them as something therapeutic. But I believed they could do what I was hearing, because I knew lots of medicines have been made from plants, so I knew they were pretty powerful things. Plus, I was desperate to cure whatever was wrong with me. I got my oils, I started using them, and as they started working, I wanted to know more about how they worked. I wanted to know why I hadn't heard of these miracle oils before. So I started researching and discovered that there are a lot of scientific studies showing, unequivocally, that essential oils have therapeutic and medicinal benefits, but the reason they are not more widely known about, or accepted, is because the FDA is desperate to protect big pharma's profits.
So on to the studies. Many of these studies are very scientific, and a challenge to understand, but here they are. And honestly, these are but a small sampling of all of the studies available out there on essential oils.
Do the research. And make up your own mind. I'm glad I did.
